Promoting Safe Surfing Policy

Nick Meredith's Promoting Safe Surfing Policy includes but is not limited to the following statements.

This website contains links to other sites not owned or operated by Nick Meredith. He is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these sites. For information on the privacy policies of these sites, please refer to their home pages.

The safety of all visitors, especially younger ones, is of paramount importance to Nick. Children should always ask the permission of a parent or teacher before sending any personal information to anyone online. This is particularly important when participating in chatrooms, on discussion boards and in e-mail correspondence.
There are no discussion boards or chat rooms on Nick's site.

Outside of Nick's website service you can never be 100% sure who it is you are conversing with. Therefore, when online, children should never tell anyone their full name, their age or address as this may be misused by the person it is sent to or forwarded to any number of other people on the Internet. Guidelines suggest that children under 16 years of age should not submit any information to any website without the consent of a teacher, parent or carer.

Nick will be producing a Safe Surfing Guide for Young People on this site
in the near future. Click here for more details.
