The pupils practised and performed a series of role-plays.
At the end of each role-play they identified the different types of bullying
that took place and suggested what could be done to stop the bullies.

"Clive is on the playground. He is on his own.
He is playing with a ball. He approached by three others."

"Dale and Penny are on the playground.
Morris is playing on his own."

"This is a little play about a boy called James,
who is walking through a park. Shane is a much bigger boy.
The two boys cross paths.
Shane slouches with his hands in his pockets."

"This is a play about Trina who goes to meet a friend at an adventure playground. Tommy and Rob are waiting by the entrance. Trina walks onto the adventure playground. She is stopped by Tommy and Rob."

"Kenny and Mike are hanging around on the playground.
Robin tries to get on to the playground. There is a teacher on duty."

"This is a play about Tina, who is walking to school
and two other girls, Davina and Jenny.
Tina walks with her lunchbox. Davina and Jenny come up behind her.

The pupils then went onto write
and perform their own role-plays.
